Welcome, Sarah Martin
I'd like to introduce a new member of our team! Sarah Martin now has responsibility for our business office. (Cut her some slack, and I shall do the same. She has a lot to learn to keep the wheels greased so we can keep making games for you.) She brings a particular competence with Excel (a program which I can barely even open without supervision) and a general love of spreadsheets and everything that goes into them. She loves making things efficient . . . which fits our needs here to a T.
Sarah is violently interested in both board games and RPGs, which can only bode well for the future. In fact, she proposed to her wife Alyce with a custom Munchkin card. (Alyce naturally said Yes.) Sarah also plays with Lego. I approve of this. But apparently I was the first one to introduce her to the idea of building original creations rather than just assembling sets. Hey, new worlds to conquer!
I know Sarah of old. Or, at least, of medium. I'm a regular at LibertyCon, where she is the Treasurer and – almost equally vital to operations of a modern event! – runs the karaoke night. Within the next few years, she'll have trained a replacement Treasurer, and she'll move over to directing the art show. I was delighted to find out that she was starting a job hunt exactly when I was thinking seriously about adding to the business staff. The Illuminati have a plan for us all! Fnord.
