- Maintaining the Creative Staff Manual.
- Conducting Editorial/Creative Staff Meetings.
- Coordinating Creative Staff Efforts.
- Preparing an Editorial Department Budget.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., journalism, communications, English) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a managing editor or supervisory role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with publishing processes and industry trends.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Austin area applicants are preferred, but we'll accept remote work for the right candidate. $25/hr. We offer paid health insurance after 60 days; vision and dental after 90. There is also an opportunity to participate in our 401(k) plan. We have seven paid holidays a year, and PTO begins to accrue your very first week.
