I’m Something Of A Monitor Lizard Myself . . .

I acquired a large, curved screen from Freecycle a few months ago. At 3440 × 1440, it takes center stage on my desk and has been a huge benefit to my work environment.

To my right, I have a standard 1920 × 1080 display (that is, a 1080p), which I typically use for whatever background "television" I have on for noise. To my left, I have a third display that's in portrait mode, at 1080 × 1920. That one's ideal for full-page PDF review when needed, or to keep text messages out of sight and mind. I'm pretty sure both of those monitors were acquired from Goodwill.

I can't see much changing for this setup anytime soon, unless one of these monitors dies or I get the option for an even snazzier display cheap. Even then, I'm not sure how much more screen real estate I could cram on my desk.

Anyway, left to right: 1080 × 1920, 3440 × 1440, and 1920 × 1080 . . .

That's my New Year's Resolution.
