BattleTech X Lorescape, Yaaaay!

(We don't usually run third-party press releases in the Illuminator. I am making an exception for this one for two reasons! First, I think it's a big deal . . . an alliance between the best new terrain idea to come along in a decade or more, and a classic game system where terrain is very important. Second, the 50th (!!) anniversary of Ogre is coming up next year . . . Full disclosure: I was impressed enough with Lorescape on very first sight that I became a shareholder.)

Lorescape, in partnership with Catalyst Game Labs, is proud to present a fully licensed, BattleTech-specific range of our innovative modular hex-terrain system.

Our 3D terrain allows you to build up the elevated parts of your existing maps, giving you instant tactical awareness of the battlespace. See sightlines and cover instead of calculating them.

No fixed lumps of terrain suited for only one hill on one map, or compromises in hex size or graphics. Every hex is individual. Every hill can be taken apart and rebuilt into a different terrain feature, perfectly matched to the graphics of the maps you own and use.

It's not just a hex. This is an entire ecosystem with clip-on accessories for cover, objectives, smoke, and buildings. It integrates with your existing scatter terrain and structures. Using Lorescape doesn't require you to throw away or stop using a single thing you own, or make restricting choices in aesthetics, storage, transport, or gameplay.

Come and test the full range at Gen Con at booth 1611. Or to see it all online, go to lorescape.gg/battletech/ where you can sign up for notifications on the product details and the launch of the Kickstarter campaign that Lorescape will be running later this year.
