Give Yourself Something To Talk About

As I mentioned back in May, one of my hobbies is fiddling with constructed fictional languages.

All this month, r/conlangs, a subreddit focused on "constructed languages for language geeks," is hosting a language-expansion challenge.

Each day during the month of December, the hosts present a new topic, including ideas on what kinds of words to craft. This is a great way to add at least 31 new words to that conlang you've been developing on the side. Check this post for an overview of this year's event. Then return every day to discover the most recent topic and add your ideas to that post.

You can also use the #lexember tag on Tumblr to join in the fun, or share your efforts on our forums.
