Enter The Real Unreal At Meow Wolf

Meow Wolf Grapevine Texas

A fun part about working for SJ Games is spotting an Eye-in-Pyramid – our company logo – in the wild, and I found one last week at Meow Wolf in Grapevine, Texas!

Meow Wolf is an art installation unlike anything you've ever seen. It's fully interactive; you can touch everything, and it has an optional storyline to follow. The North Texas location was created by 150 artists, and there are more around the country, including Denver, Houston, and Las Vegas.

In the two-level museum, you'll enter over two dozen mind-warping rooms like the Crystal Cloud Cave, try to find your way out of a circular room full of refrigerator doors that turns into a disco party if you open a certain one, and search for Brain Beans with the companion app. You can even climb inside a washing machine and slide down into the Glowquarium. And don't forget to wear your special glasses that warp reality even farther.

Best of all, every single room is perfectly Instagrammable. That's all I can share with you – Meow Wolf prides itself on secrecy so every attendee can experience the wonder and amazement without spoilers. You'll just have to visit one to see what its all about.

Have you been to a Meow Wolf installation? Tell us on the forums which ones you've seen and your favorite parts!
