The first Daily Illuminator was posted on November 16, 1994, and today the blog celebrates its 31st anniversary!

  • The title of the first entry was "Welcome To . . . What Are We Calling This, Anyway?"

  • There are an incredible 11,324 unique entries.
     
  • It is the longest-running daily blog on the internet, and we have never missed a day.
Of the blog's amazing longevity, Steve said, "It turns out that the way to have the oldest blog in the world is just to start posting and never stop."
