A Recommendation That's Like An Anvil To The Head

I recently saw Coyote vs. Acme in the theaters. For those who aren't aware, it follows Wile E. Coyote (super-genius) in his efforts to sue the Acme corporation for umpteen years of defective products.

It's a "toons in the real world" premise that's executed remarkably well. I don't want to give too much away, but I was amazed at the level of attachment I had to the plot and characters, given how the titular protagonist doesn't speak.

I have a "like but not love" relationship with the classic Looney Tunes characters. I'm generally disposed well enough toward them, but they're not my first choice for most entertainment. Still, I heard that Coyote vs. Acme was pretty darn special. That buzz was 100% correct, and I'm happy to contribute to it in my own small way. (For those who keep tabs on the movie biz, it's something of a miracle the movie saw the light of day at all . . .)

I'm not sure if the movie will still be in theaters by the time this post runs. (I felt lucky getting to see it when I did!) However, it's definitely worth tracking down. I've gotten an incredible jolt of inspiration and enthusiasm to play in a Toon game . . . unless that tingly sensation is the ominous side effect of the "Dynamite Writing Ability" tablets I just swal-[KA-BOOM]
