Print your own game terrain!
With these STL files, you can print all the terrain you want, when you want it. . Whether your game system uses hexagons or squares, the Scape system has you covered.
SJ Games has been developing and testing this system for more than five years. We looked at the best terrain sets out there, both the ones in the store and the ones designed for 3D printing. We said "We can't be the first. Guess we'll just have to be best."
So: Cheap, Good, and Fast. Pick all three.
Advantages
• Cheap, so cheap. If you have a resin printer, your only cost is time and material. (Filament printers are fine for everything but the doors and frames.) If you don't have a 3D printer, one of your friends does.
• Precisely engineered. The tiles and connectors fit together cleanly. The doors move on their hinges. There are two types of connectors – standard and magnetic.
• Ultra paintable, with just the right level of detail. Paint in your chosen color scheme, wash, drybrush . . . and it looks at least as good as the most expensive sets you've seen. (Don't feel like painting today? Print them in gray or brown, and they look fine.)
• Never out of print – because you can make more whenever you want!
• So many little details! The doors are hinged. The most-frequently-used tiles come in variant versions so your hallways don't look boring. The tiles can hold a magnet underneath each space to keep figures in position. The Hexscape columns come in half-inch increments for realistic multi-level boards. Squarescape is supported by an online app that lets you design dungeons and see what you need to build them.
