Like Being Online? Enjoy Catfishing!

If you're like me, you love Wikipedia and access it about eleven jillion times a day. Okay . . . that second prong may just be me. Still, Wikipedia is great.

For fans of that handy resource, I can recommend Catfishing. It's a game that challenges you to determine what Wikipedia topic they're talking about based just on the categories at the bottom of the page. So, for example, you might be challenged with something like:

Card games introduced in 2001, Dedicated deck card games, Fantasy parodies, Steve Jackson (American game designer) games, Origins Award winners, Steve Jackson Games games, Horror board games

. . . just as an example.

As a warning, Catfishing draws from a much broader range of topics than typical online games, including inscrutable categories like "sports." Some days, I feel lucky if I can get three or four right out of 10. Still, it's a fun diversion, and it's fascinating to think about topics based on how they're otherwise classified.
