Happy In Atlanta
I'm pretty well moved in. And it was a massive effort, but I'm glad I did it. I think this is a better city to retire in, when that day comes, and I know that I'm in a better spot for who I am right now.
I will miss a lot of things about my Buda home, with its acres of stinkin' desert that Monica and I made greener, and I sure miss my Texas friends. But it RAINS a lot more often in Atlanta, so I can keep a lot more things alive, and I know a lot of nice people in Atlanta and Chattanooga and I'm meeting more.
I will try to check in again, in a year or so, and let you all know how it is going at that point. Maybe by then I'll have my Lego town set up again, and it will feel even more like home . . .
