Grind Some Gears With Munchkin Steampunk

Munchkin Steampunk

Can you believe it's been seven years since Munchkin Steampunk launched onto the scene? Think of how many sprockets have been ratcheted and springs that've sprung over that time! I got a bit nostalgic and looked back at one of our earlier #SJGamesLive streams with Rhea at the local Dragon's Lair in Austin. (That's where the Munchkin Steampunk Launch Party was held.) Video technology was definitely a bit more archaic compared to our new studio setup, but it was awesome to see so many people having a blast with the game.

Since then, we've been graced with a number of superb additions, all with that iconic Phil Foglio art. The expansion took us to the world of Phil's comic Girl Genius, a legendary steampunk story that fits right in with the world of Munchkin. And then we expanded with fun accessories like Kill-O-Meters and even some promo cards and bookmarks. I think the Munchkin Steampunk Kill-O-Meter has been my single most-used accessory over the years in the office. I even used it on stream a few weeks ago while we played Wiz-War! Phil also did the art for that one, so it worked great in a pinch.

This isn't a eulogy, though. Munchkin Steampunk, along with the expansion and accessories, is still available on Warehouse 23. Gather your friends, family, and favorite bucket of bolts for a great game!
